Seattle Grace Hospital is ranked #12 as a teaching hospital and goes from a Trama 2 Center down to a Trama 1 Center. We meet G.I. Joe (Major Owen Hunt- ARMY) who trached a man in the street after a car accident. Yang is told to clean his leg, which was cut in the accident. While she goes over to the cabinet to get some painkillers for him, he grabs the stapler and starts stapling his own leg. She's stunned and then finishes up for him. Yang almost kills a man and goes outside to take a breather. Meredith starts talking about Derek, again. Yang blows up at Mer and then falls on some ice as she starts to go back into the ER. Then she gets impaled by an iceiccle.

Grey's Anatomy starts its fifth season. As the show is struggling the ratings,Seattle Grace hospital is in 12th place in the hospitals ranking. Everyone is pretty shocked that the Mercy West hospital has better quality and patients with serious traumas will go their. The episode starts with Meredith dreaming about Derek dying which she thinks corellates with their life together as a couple. I find it pretty boring and annoying that Meredith can't stop talking about if their realtionship will work out or won't. I mean, she just wants drama and I find her very boring in this season opener.
Derek copes up with Rose who is not over with their romance. I love the way she lied to him that she is pregnant with his child. I just thought it is true.
Christina again is in need of serious and outrageous traumas but she is again let down which I always find very hilarious. She finds interest in a doctor who is hurt by the accident.
George and Lexie were not so interesting to watch. Lexie was pretty annoying trying to defend George all the time. They should have gotten better storyline in this first half of the season opener.
Izzie and Alex are spending time together which is always good because I really loved them as a couple. Although, they didn't catch the attention a lot in this episode. The medical case in this episode was not so interesting and outrageous. Moreover,I think that last year's fourth season opener was better than this year's. I find the medical case entertaining but not that powerful. The ending of the episode was great with Christina confronting Meredith for talking too much about her relationship with Derek. After that she is hit by an icicle. Somehow it was so funny for me.
Favorite character- Christina. -

In this episode of Greys Anatomy the following happens. We see Derek after an accident and believe that he has died. Luckily it's just a dream. We learn that Seattle Grace has gone from being hospital number 2 to hospital number 12. We learn that George is getting ready to re-sit his intern exam. Lexi learns that George and Meredith slept together and wants to know all the details; she also seems hurt by it. The chief is very upset and angry during the episode at the fact that S.G. has dropped 10 points in the charts of hospitals. Meredith asks Derek if he wants to move in with her and he agrees. Rose tells Derek that she is pregnant and thank god it was only a joke. We see Christina falling on the floor and then an icicle falling into her stomach. Meredith goes to get help.

Well i was defintely expecting more, first there were too many characters that were similar, i was totally confused by the husbands, i didnt understood untill the end which one had died, which wasnt going to speak and which was frozed.
Second, all that Meredith/Derrick thing again ???? PLEASE no more, thats just annoing.
I was getting excited about how things were going with Izzie and Alex, and then again, it all started from zero, ANNOING !!!
There were onle two good things in this episode, first the new guy, that i thought it should stay in the show, for sure and second, the relationship between Hahn and Callie. -
7 Good
iexpected it too be better, but it was still pretty good. the old lady infidelity thing was kind of boring even though i am a fan of bernadette peters, she's been in everything else, why not grey's anatomy. the freezing a guy was midly suspencfull, but not really grey's anatomy good. i really don't like the new army guy that's coming on too the show, he really gets on my nerves. George, izzie, and alex are becoming increasingly boring. i seriosly hope something interesting to happen, i mean Kathryn heigel is the emmy winner; giver her something emmy-worhty to do. merideth, and derrek are aslo becoming so old as well, i know they're not together for good why get them back together for just this season, or even less. i love lexi, the actress that plays her is a comedic gueinness. i loved it when she was reading the letter to the old chick, she was hilariose. they should giver her something better to do then having a crush on george, becuase that's just random, and forced. Cali, and Erica are cute together, and i think it would be great if we to see more stuff from them. then thiers sloan who really isn't doing anything. i really hope next week will be better.

George: What do you think you were doin' back there?
Lexie: I was tryin' to help you.
George: By telling an attending to shut up in his OR? That's not helping. What makes think you can get away with-- (gasps) You're sleeping with him?
Lexie: What? No!
George: Yes, you are.
Lexie: Why would you even say that? ... Wait, are you jealous?
George: Of the fact that you can tell Sloan to shut up? Yeah. But you know, he's right I'm the hostpial joke, and it's my fault. I'm the one who failed my intern exam and got married in Vegas, and cheated on my wife. [edit] -
Lexie: You were a little mean to George. Unnecessarily mean. And he's studying to re-take his intern test, so he's a little stressed out, so I was thinking that maybe you could be a little nicer...
Mark: You're a intern, why are you talking to me?
Lexie: Well, you're my half-sister's, boyfriend's, best friend, so I thought that I...
Mark: So you thought that makes us friends? You thought that you could just defend your boyfriend to me and that I would just take it.
Lexie: He's not my boyfriend.
Mark: But you want him to be.
Lexie: Do not.
Mark: Do to.
Lexie: Do not.
Mark: Do to. Does he know?
Lexie: Shut up.
Mark: I'm your attending you can't tell me to shut up. You want me to be nicer to O'Malley?
Lexie: Please?
Mark: Confess your love to him, and I'll think about it.
Lexie: Shut up. [edit] -
George: I can't seem to get it down the--
Lexie: You almost got it, George.
Mark: What are you his little cheerleader? Step aside, wonder boy, before you make things worse. [edit]

Bailey: I have a dream that one day... A trauma will walk through those doors. I have a dream.
This is an obvious allusion to Martin Luther King's famous I Have a Dream Speech. Which is the name given to the public speech by Martin Luther King, Jr., when he spoke of his desire for a future where blacks and whites, among others, would coexist harmoniously as equals. King's delivery of the speech on August 28, 1963, from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom, was a defining moment of the American Civil Rights Movement.
