Season 1 was the 5-part miniseries ["V"(1983) and "V: The Final Battle" 1984)]. I've seen them aired on an old movie channel as 10 one-hour episodes. They just broke each episode in half and added opening and ending credits. Season 2 was the 19 1-hour episodes that were called "V: The series"(1984-85). The episode that was called "The Attack" was written as a script, but never aired. It was supposed to be the 3rd season premiere, but the series was canceled before they shot the episode. Too bad because it was a good series.

I don't know why this summary of an episode that never was shot or aired made it onto the board here. How is it that it has an air date of Sunday January 1 2006. Why is it included at all? This storyline was created many years ago, but was never filmed, and the actors are too old to reprise their roles now. Rumor has it that there is a new V in the works, with a new cast, but created by Kenneth Johnson. Maybe someday we will see another V on TV, on NBC. But not "The Attack" which doesn't exist.
