4.7 PoorA series brought back to the air on the principles of exploiting the hell out of the qualities that the writer's thought gave it it's highest moments of humor becomes a movie. hide show
Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story is a great example of what's made the series foul since its return to the air; it's a movie designed to milk "everybody's favorite character," Stewie, for all he's worth. This is exactly why the movie starts so-so and just gets dryer and dryer as one continues to watch. And, the reason it doesn't even start off so well is because, even though we don't know the jokes word-for-word, we, the viewer, still know what's coming. The humor, for the most part, is exactly what you'd expect from an episode of Family Guy, and doesn't provide one with laughter for a very long time. 4.7/10

9.7 Superb
The Family Guy movie was better than I expected it to be. A lot of times when series go to movies it can be really bad. The Simpsons movie will probably be a pile of crap. The Family Guy movie, on the other hand, was very well-done and included few faults. It was hilarious and entertaining and a fine example of what Family Guy used to be before it began to exploit flashbacks, Meg-bashing, and long awkward jokes.

9.6 SuperbStewie goes through several small adventures and experiences leading up to meeting a future version of himself... hide show
As a movie I loved this. However, as a season finale I was dissapointed to see that they didn't actually come up with something besides just the movie. I suppose I enjoyed watching it again on TV. I was also dissapointed though that they cut out some of my favorites scenes, one being when Stewie shoots Vanessa (Chris' future wife) with a rocket launcher at their wedding while going back to his time. Still, what has to be my most favorite is when they go through the brief spoof of Bugs Bunny with Elmer Fudd. That's always been hilarious for me. Aside from the let downs about there being no actual season finale, I still enjoyed spending my Sunday evening watching Stewie try to figure out his life, Brian tagging along, and Peter and Lois hopelessly try to teach Meg and Chris how to date. This will always be one of my favorite movies of all time.

Peter: You know what really grinds my gears? This Lindsay Lohan. Lindsay Lohan with all those little outfits, jumping around there on stage, half-naked with your little outfits. Ya know? You're a... You're out there jumping around and I'm just sitting here with my beer. So, what am I supposed to do? What you want? You know, are we gonna go out? Is that what you're trying to - why why are you leaping around there, throwing those things all up in my, over there in my face? What do you want, Lindsay? Tell me what you want? Well, I'll tell you what you want, you want nothing. You want nothing. All right? Because we all know that no woman anywhere wants to have sex with anyone, and to titillate us with any thoughts otherwise is... is just bogus.
Lois: Ah, he is so right on. Women are such teases. That's why I went back to men. [edit] -
Stewie: I think it would have to be... f***.
