About nine years ago on a sunny day in the loveliest of suburbs, in a town called Fairview, housewife Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) decided to end it all. Now she takes us into the lives of her friends, family and neighbors... Her circle of girlfriends on Wisteria Lane includes Bree Hodge (Marcia Cross), the owner of a thriving catering business and on the verge of publishing her first cookbook; Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman), who struggles with raising troublesome teenaged boys who have an affinity for breaking the law; Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher), a single mom who is on a never-ending quest for love; the ex-model turned housewife Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria Parker), who finds herself chasing after two daughters and looking drastically different from the model she once was. The ladies have welcomed the now single Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany), who lived on the street once before when Mary Alice was alive, into their small, tight-knit group. However, their disdain for their prodigal neighbor, Edie Britt (Nicollette Sheridan), remains.

Then there are the men: Mike Delfino (James Denton), the father of Susan's son; Lynette's adorable husband, Tom (Doug Savant), who always stays by his wife's side despite many challenges; Gabrielle's husband, Carlos (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) who was left blind in the storm that ravaged Wisteria Lane; Mary Alice's widowed husband Paul (Mark Moses), who is currently in prison for the murder of his neighbor; and Orson Hodge (Kyle MacLachlan), a devoted husband to Bree.

Joining the neighborhood is Edie's new husband, Dave (Neal McDonough), who has his share of secrets. And finally there are the gay couple, Bob (Tuc Watkins) and Lee (Kevin Rahm), who moved from the city for a more quieter, peaceful life, and local busybody Karen McCluskey (Kathryn Joosten).

From her unique vantage point, Mary Alice sees more now than she ever did alive, and she's planning to share all the delicious secrets that hide behind every neighbor's closed door in this seemingly perfect American suburb.

Connections lead to surprising resolutions, as Susan and Edie are forced to spend time alone together when they accidentally lock themselves in a basement. Bree's devious plotting against Andrew's future mother-in-law, Melina (guest star Joanna Cassidy), in an attempt to keep him close to her comes at a cost. Gabrielle loses control of her children and turns to Carlos for help. The ongoing search for Porter leads Lynette to her mother, Stella (guest star Polly Bergen). Katherine and Mike define their relationship. Meanwhile, Dave gets a step closer to exacting revenge.

My girlfriend really gives me a hard time for watching this show. I have to point out that she has never watched a single episode. This show may be centered around a group of women in a neighorhood and their lives. But, this show is full of murder, deceit, and comedy. This is one of my favorite shows. It is not my very favorite but, defineately in the top 10. I was in the militart stationed overseas and am 1 season behind because I had to watch them on DVD. I am catching up to the current episode. To me TV shows are easier to watch on either a DVD set or I-Tunes because I have a busy schedule and do not have Tivo.

Marc I know you sat at the negotiating table before the strike, but if you take to long to air the episode I might not return. If I thought that Sunday's episode was the last one written and shot before the strike, I wouldn't be so hateful. But the fact that he is holding it really pissed me off. I say to ABC and Marc Cherry air that episode if you have it, think of the fans you want to keep and not lose.
BTW I never thought I would say I hate Marc Cherry because I love anyone who

Yeap dh is better now but sometimes is a litle bit slow but I forgive them,

when does gaby is going to have her makover cuz she cind of needs it desperatly now on the 5th season they go 5 years in to the future to me it sounds a litle bit like one tree hill but hey its not bad, not bad at all just that susan whith her painting guy
they couldnt find anybody less apealling but anyway I thougt that the twins were the midle children and parker was the oldest dont understand and another thing... does anybody think that gaby's doughters are to horrible!!!

Many people will hate me for saying this but I just want Mike to be with Katherine. I know that he and Susan went through a whole lot but, Susan seems to not know what she really wants and what she have. Susan reminds me of Meredith Grey when it comes to "issues" I know we all have one but to let it ruin when someone tries to make things right for us, seems way out of line. So, yes, I hope that Susan will let Mike go and they all get on with their lives.

Lynette, as always is remarkable, but as any mother who let her heart rule she can never be perfect and may sometime choose a wrong decision and move.As for Tom, well he really made me laugh. Gabby, she really hold their family together, no matter how vain she may seem, she really show the heart that was in her. Happy that Carlos finally get his sight back. It made me cry when he finally saw his family and saw what sacrifices Gabby has to make.

Bree, well her character seems to be a bit boring this first half of the season. Hope they spice it up a little and so is Katherine's character. But, I am happy that she is really trying to be a good mother to Andrew. Bree and Orson, they always make me laugh.

And for Dave, I feel for him but I think this kind of storyline is really used a lot. So yes, it kind of boring and predictable.

But all in all Desperate Housewives really is a good show that never waste anyone's time.

The worst part is that there all acting like old ladies always starting rumors.They allways feel bad about themselves.They have to think about the veiwers. They love their husbands like their forced too.Your better luck watching the simpsons.They have respect.They will crash very soon.The simpsons have every day life things.You will hate the way they complain.It's a drag watching a boring show like this ,I fell asleep during this show and it's 60 minutes out of your sunday.I'd rather go to school than watch show.It needs a new topic.It would be a waste of your time .Hope you love my reveiw.
