Family. Hard work. And lots of screaming. Welcome to the Teutels' bike shop. hide show

The Teutel family love to build and ride motorcycles. Their custom designs are well known for creativity and workmanship.

People who yell together, stay together: Paul, his sons Paul Jr. and Mikey, and assorted other friends work the shop. Rest assured, there is no lack of communication here: Paul Sr. tends to communicate at the top of his lungs, and the rest of them aren't afraid to give it right back to him. I have yet to see a bike completed without a huge screaming match.

However, I've yet to see a bike completed that I wouldn't give my eye teeth for. They watch over every part like the bike would have to be theirs. The paint work is always beautiful.

I learned a lot from this show about how much work goes on behind the scenes at a place like this. It will teach you to have more respect for what you drive, and for the people who put it there.

A great reality show about motorcycles. hide show

A great reality show about motorcycles. If this is a show that you do not normally watch and you are sitting at home with nothing to do, you are going to wish you had it on tape. Having it "on tape" had become the generic term for recorded programs. Today you are more likely to have the show on Tivo or DVR than VHS, or god forbid Beta!! It is kind of like how a lot of people still call CD's "records" or "albums." Anyway, back to the show. This is the type of show that is really pretty good if you would just give it a chance. So on those cold, lonely, rainy days, pop in your tape or DVR or whatever if you were smart enough to tape it. If not, check to see if it is on as a re-run. After all, as they say, if you have never seen it, it is new to you.

WOW! Can there be any other word to describe this show? I get to see the top choppers being made from scratch. I find this show to really inspire me, never having had a father, I see Paul Sr. and son work through rough times and still love each other. hide show

I have three beautifull children, two boys and my daughter, who look up to me and I am proud to say that I set a good example. I see how Paul Sr. and son interact and through difficult times are still somehow be there for each other, and to be so creative! Their choppers move me, they put so much into each bike that gives it that unique quality and design. I believe it was the 911 "Firefighter" bike that sealed the deal with me being a fan and admirer of orange County Choppers. I cried through that unvieling, very moving. I you do not watch OCC you are missing out on so much...WATCH IT!!!

If you like choppers you will love this show.
If you don't like them, you will love this show. hide show

Paul, Pauly, and Mike are a "loving" family that work together in their family business. Oh ya - their job is to build the Coolest bikes you have ever seen. Orange County Choppers (American Choppers) is a show set on a family who builds custom motorcycles for really rich people. Each bike takes two hours (two episodes) to build. They walk the audience throught the drafting, designing, welding, building, painting, and greasing of every bike they build. These choppers are like none that you have ever seen before. Even though every episode the family yells, cusses, and throws things at eachother every bike turns out fantastic. Give American Choppers a watch sometime soon!
