Ugly Betty stars America Ferrera in the title role. The show is based on the wildly popular Colombian telenovela which has already been successfully translated in Mexico, India, Russia, Greece and Germany - all to stellar ratings. its such a great episode... seeing Daniel when he lose DJ its so touching the way he tried to be with DJ its not good but he desperate and thinks that the only thinks to do... the scene when Daniel said that he want to be DJ's father so touching... this episode, in my opinion, quite awesome... I'm also like the scene when Alexis reject Wilhelmina's offers...its so great see her defends Daniel, its quite rare...hehehe... after all. I love love love this episode even though a lil bit sad about what happened with Hilda but this episode is one of the best for this season yet... can't wait to see next episode...

Ugly Betty has been a personal favourite of mine since the start. America Ferrera is excellent in the title role and the rest of the cast are perfect in their supporting roles. Watching Betty each week is a joy.

I love the way Wilhemina schemes and Daniel blunders through life for the most part. The twists and turns in the episodes are just brilliant. Her family are so funny - I especially love her sister Hilda and her nephew Justin and her Dad is really sweet. I hope that this will continue for a few more seasons yet.

Long may Betty continue to entertain us!

Love the show!!! I want to be in the fashion magazine world one day... and this show kind of gives me some info on the work. Betty is the best, Daniel is so cute, Christina is the best friend I want, Mark and amanda are so funny together and Willamina is wickedly good. What I don't get, is why Lindsay Lohan??? honestly, now i down really like her. She was better before she got stupid and drugy... Hope she gets on her feet... I prefer Betty getting back with Gio then hooking up with Jessy. Can't wait for the following episodes, it looks promising! ;););)

how do these alcholic,drug using old movie stars get jobs on a very good show? it is sooooooo wrong.these girls..lindsey,brittany etc....etc....... do bad things and then get praised for it by getting on a hit tv show??? if my kid was bad..she would go to jail and be shunned.....not fair at all..it is horrible..outrages....betty was a great show it didnt need lohan,they could of got someone else..there are plenty girls who could make the show very interesting...they have great writers...dont they?? well any way get rid of lohan if you want me to keep watching the show.thank you very much

so this show.
its interesting to see this show because its a spin off of another show also called ugly betty which happens to be a telenovela..

i love the way that this show has turned out.. its interesting the way all of the characters have developed and i absolutely love
all of the deliciously evil conflicting roles that are going on in the show.

i personally compare myself to betty because im pretty much different then a lot of people that i am surrounded by therefore i have a feeling of connection with her character.
she is kinda like the quirky smart confused do gooder at mode
and i enjoy watching her get herself in to sticky situations
that she always seems to find her way out of
and i adore hilda's character
as the sexy single mom with the man troubles

and the gay son.
who.. im not sure if he is really gay
but its interesting to think what if he is gay
because hes so young.. or if hes just that good of an actor to play an extremly feminen boy.
