Jay Stakelon was the first to take on the mob in this episode and for this game only, the top prize was raised to three million dollars. Jay is from Allentown PA and is the co-owner of a small graphics design studio. He played hard, answering questions with topics ranging from computer storage terms to the chemical symbol for the element of iron.
Paula Russell took on the mob next. From Chicago, Illinois, she called herself a "gambler." She faced a mob that included several former game show champions and Cardinals MVP David Eckstein. The program ended with her still facing the mob for big money values.
