Another day of the Olympics and another day of gold medals for America. The United States men won the medal in Beach Volleyball in impressive fashion against a strong Brazilian team. There was some okay wrestling in the afternoon, but the commentary, coupled in with little actual action resulted in some boredom for me. Again we had some diving in the primetime slot on NBC. How many of these events can they possibly have? How many different forms of diving are there?

The night also resulted in more rumors about China having some underage gymnasts. I hope that is not the case has they gave a strong performance and except for Alicia Sacramone, I couldn't care less about the US gymnastics team and don't want them getting any more gold.
