According to Elisha Cuthbert on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Kim was originally going to be the one to kill Nina Myers until they changed it to have Jack take her out. (edit) This episode marks the final appearance of former series regular Sarah Clarke (Nina Myers). (edit) From this point on, every episode in the series is preceded by the Viewer Discretion Warning for graphic violence. Fox added the notice regularly as a precautionary measure after the FCC began cracking down on television indecency due to the infamous Janet Jackson Super Bowl half-time show. (edit) Greg Ellis stated in an interview that Amador was supposed to get his throat slit in this episode, but the writers liked him and decided to keep him around a while longer, opting to kill off another villain instead. Nina: (sees Tony's wedding ring) It's a nice ring. Who the lucky girl? (Michelle looks on from the other side) Hope you did a background check cause you don't wanna make the same mistake twice.
Tony: You're going back to prison. There's a good chance that you'll be executed as a traitor. You know if you cooperate you may be able to save your own life but you're stalling which means you know something and think there a play you can still make only now's not the right time.
Nina: Very incisive. I hope your wife appreciates that about you. (edit) Palmer: Isn't your shift ended?

At the top of the hour, the air transport lands at what is described as the airbase at Pt. Mugu, which is near Oxnard in Ventura County - at least 45 miles from what would be the downtown LA headquarters of CTU. But Jack and Nina arrive at CTU as the clock ticks up to 2:09 AM. No way that truck made the transfer in 8 minutes or so. (edit) Another violation of the real-time format: It's 02:09:22 at the end of the first commercial break, when Jack and Kim embrace at CTU. Then they go to commercial, and we come back at 02:13:35 and Jack and Kim break the embrace and start talking. Apparently they hugged each other for 4 minutes...? (edit)
