If you guys are missing the best show on tv (24) then you can watch the season 7 trailer all over again and again until it returns for the seventh day, http://videos.24fans.net/uk_trailer/

I wish they would start a counter clock. Does anybody know when the prequel will air?

I´m bored! I have finished watching all 6 seasons again! there is nothing better than a great show and no tv ads!

Can anyone please recommend any other show you can get on DVD? I think 24 is the best show ever! But I´m willing to try any other show so I have something to watch again. (please no big drama! like Jack, I like to see things blow up!)

I know what you mean; I watched all the seasons again not long ago due to that 24-starved feeling! I'd highly recommend Prison Break, Dexter and Heroes if you're looking for tense, high-production TV shows that have general ass-kickingness. They ought to keep you busy for a while!

Yeah I went through the seasons again too. Been almost a year since anything new, stupid strike.

Prison Break is a good watch but unlike 24 it gets repetitive in season 3, where as 24 took 6 seasons to do it. Plus their pulling a plot line out of left feild to try and save the show. Still a great show though.

Heroes is only good in the first season, after that bah.

Dexter never watched looks pretty good though.

Could go for Jericho but that's only one season and a half(not even).

You want something that will last you a long time go for Stargate Sg-1, not as nail biting as 24 but it is a great show(besides a few filler episodes here and there.)

Or Lost but that is just annoying, gives you way moe questions than answers.

"Alias" has always been the next best thing (at least the first three seasons).

Isn't there some British show that is similar in concept to 24? Maybe not the real-time format, but similar nonetheless? I remember reading something about that a while back and the title escapes me...

Only 8 months or so to go before the season starts. Prob another 5 or so before the movie.

Definitely missing 24...in a normal season, we'd be nearing the end of Season Seven right now!

I too have been re-watching previous seasons (have not gotten around to picking up Six on DVD...) Right now, I'm beginning Season Five again. Next January seems like such a long time, but hopefully we'll get that 2-hour movie in the fall.

In the meantime, I've found that The Unit is an OK substitute, at least with the missions-aspect of the show. Plus, it's got Dennis Haysbert as a very Jack Bauer-esque character!

Maybe this will help? In the UK it's called Spooks. When it ran on A&E it was called MI:5.

I'm in serious 24 withdrawal, but with the news of the movie in November and the release of the season 1 special edition, I am now happy once again.

If the show HAD aired, it'd be almost time for the finale. It'd probably be airing this Monday, actually

Damn the strike sucked.

MI-5 on BBC America is a very fast acting spy series which may help with the hunger pangs for 24.
