The hoax begins. The episode starts with Chrissy being driven to the middle of nowhere and meets the host and gets a look at the big wheel. She is told the stipulations of the hoax and agrees to it. Next thing, Ed McMahon appears at her house with balloons and a huge check for $5 million. The family is flown off to a luxurious hotel where the hoax officially begins. As the spending gets underway, Chrissy breaks down a few times, but ultimately is able to keep her composure together. She buys $16,000 in clothes and $80,000 on a Hummer.
