Eric and the boys are camping out in the backyard. He's in his own tent and the boys are in another. Eric wakes up and yells because Samson is in his face staring at him and his neck is twisted when he yells and that's how he gets the pain in his neck. He can't move it and he's stuck with his head crooked.
Then the boys say they can't sleep without Happy. So they have to go and get her but they can't find her anywhere. They sit on the steps all night waiting for her to come back. Eric starts getting nervous because he doesn't know what to tell Annie and the boys want to call her but he doesn't let them. Then Kevin walks in with Happy and Eric asks him where he found her and Kevin explains she followed him home last night.
When Eric goes to pick up the boys up at school, their teacher Ms. Margo tells him how they were falling asleep in class and how they couldn't find the dog. She knows Annie isn't home so she tries to invite herself over for dinner and offers to help take care of the boys. Eric sees right through it and declines her offer, then she tells him that she's never done this before but finds herself attracted to him.
Eric tries to tell the principal and she laughs at him. Ms. Margo has been with them for 3 yrs and is a good teacher.
Lucy and Kevin are arguing about Ben. Ben was coming and Kevin wanted him to stay in their house and Lucy wanted him to stay with Eric in the garage apartment. Kevin lies and tells Lucy it's Ben's birthday so she'd let him stay in the house but Lucy still says no. She figures out he's lying and starts playing along like it really is his birthday, and how they have to make a cake and get everything ready. Kevin wants to tell her the truth but doesn't get the words out so Lucy cuts off his "uhh" and says she knows its not his birthday.
Eric goes to the hospital to visit someone who has this "Live life like there's no tomorrow" attitude that Eric can't understand.
Erick ends up talking to his cardiologist and has an EKG done. His doctor isn't happy with the test results. Eric asks if he has to have surgery again and the doctor replies "Unfortunatley not".
Lucy calls and interupts asking if she wants him to pick the boys up from school, Eric says yes.
Next scene Eric goes to the school and has a meeting with the principal and everyone. He says how he wants his boys out of her class. He has this big scene where he's giving a speech on morals and how if he lets this go, something worse will happen because of people like her with lack of morals. He goes into detail of what happened and how she wanted to get "Intimate" with him. He walks away and everyone claps, the principal looks at Ms. Margo and says, "Now I know what you see in him" and tells her they need to talk and they walk away. (It looks like she's getting fired)
He then goes over to Lucy and Kevin's for Ben's "Birthday." Ben snaps Eric's neck back into place so he's not holding it all stiff and crooked anymore. Even though it's not Ben's birthday, they decide to have fun with it and sing "Happy birthday to everyone" because someone, somewhere is having a birthday today.
