add »
This episode marks Haylie Duff's last appearance this season. She was contracted for only the first 13 episodes and her complicated pregnancy storyline ends after this episode. Haylie makes a brief guest appearance in the season finale episode And Thank You (2) and returns full time in the eleventh season. (edit)
Tyler Hoechlin (Martin Brewer) was accidentally neglected from the opening credits of this episode, when it originally aired. He was not credited in any way. (edit)
The song featured in this episode was the single This Woman's Work by Kate Bush. (edit)

Quotes

Rose: I'm not having a baby until after I'm married.
Simon: Then let's not wait. Let's get married.
Rose: Let's get married when?
Simon: This May.
Rose: YES! (hugs him, turns to the family) We're getting married! This May, we're getting married!
Simon: It was my idea. I'm ready. We're both ready. (edit)
Rose: Just tell me now if you have a problem with pink.
Simon: I don't have a problem with pink! I have a problem with wearing pink at MY wedding! (edit)
Rose: What do you think of spring colors?
Simon: I think it's not spring. (edit)
Martin: I'm sorry I haven't been here.
Sandy: Its OK. You're here now. (edit)
Lucy: Who's there with you?
Sandy: A really nice nurse and a lot of scary people. (edit)

Trivia

add »
Sandy and Martin decide to name their son, Aaron, after Martin's grandfather on his father's side. It's also the name of the executive producer of the this show Aaron Spelling. (edit)
It's highly doubtful that a reputable hospital would allow a pregnant woman that close to delivery to leave unescorted. She would either be sent home with a chaperone, or perhaps allowed to walk a short distance about the halls or grounds until her time came. (edit)
Eric: (to Martin) If you change your mind, call me.

How can Martin call Eric when Eric is about to go on a two hour drive to the hospital and neither he nor Annie carry cell phones, nor are any family members with a cell phone traveling with Eric and Annie? (edit)
Simon & Rose decide to get married this May instead of waiting until next May. (edit)
Edward announces he is 9 weeks sober and counting. (edit)

And Baby Makes Three
"Alternate reality"
Sandy has the baby and suddenly Martin is all into the baby; moving closer; going to the college and maybe getting together for the sake of the baby.
