Eric and Annie rush to the hospital after Eric wakes up with a good feeling about his heart condition. Unsure whether her parents are at the hospital due to good news or bad news, Lucy is a bundle of nerves, and it's up to Kevin to keep her thinking positively as they wait for news. T-Bone and Ruthie decide to get back together, but Martin hopes to change Ruthie's mind when he reveals that he's in love with her as well.

Margaret: (speaking fast) Reverend Camden is at the hospital! Something's happened to his heart! Something good....meanwhile the children have been abandoned and are hungry. (edit) Eric: (to Annie, concerned about his heart) I think something happened... (edit) Kevin: (spots Ruthie and T-Bone making out in a corner) Excuse me!
Ruthie: Oh, hi, um
T-Bone: We made up!
Kevin: I can see that. Come on we got to go to the hospital. Your dad's there.
Ruthie: But when I left this morning he was fine.
Kevin: I know, it's good news. I thought you'd like to be there when we all got the good news.
Ruthie: But we can't just leave school.
Kevin: Sure you can! There will be plenty of places to make out at the hospital! (edit) T-Bone: (to Martin) Well pal, this year, I'm family. (edit)
Sam: Sam and me!
