Response: Actually the show says that Eric had been home for a month not a week. TV moves faster than actual life. (edit) NITPICK: It's a little odd that one week after surgery Rev. Camden is up and about. Usually, it takes week for a person to fully recover after a heart surgery like Eric's. (edit)

This episode title "Regarding Eric" is probably refering to the Harrison Ford movie "Regarding Henry" back in 1991. It's the story of a man who loses a connection with everything in his life after a shooting and has to restart his life all over again.
