Synopsis

This episode was part 3 of 3 in a series featuring six couples staying at the Bates Motel from the movie Psycho and competing on the set where the movie was filmed for a grand prize of $250,000.

At the end of the last episode, the couples were unpleasantly surprised when thousands of Madagascar hissing cockroaches came crawling out of the holes in the walls. At the beginning of this episode, they were informed that whichever couple could collect the most roaches and keep them alive until morning would win a prize.

Stunt #1 (Eat the Camel Spider)
Both partners would be bound in straight jackets and have to work together to get free as fast as possible. But first, each person would be given the opportunity to eat two live Iraqi Camel Spiders, each worth 30 seconds off their time, giving each couple the chance to deduct up to two minutes off their time. The couple to take the longest escaping from the straight jackets would be eliminated.

Stunt #2 (Psycho House explosion)
Racing head-to-head, the women would be in an upstairs room of the Psycho House unscrewing caps from sticks of dynamite and tossing them out the window. Meanwhile, the men would be outside assembling detonators. The first man to get his detonator assembled would attach a wire to it and use it blow up the Psycho house and send the women hurtling through the air. The man who got the detonator assembled first would get an additional two sticks of dynamite. The couple who got the most sticks of dynamite out the window (including the two added ones for fastest time) would be Psycho Fear Factor Champions and win $250,000.

Home Invasion Stunt (Gulp and grab)
Competing in this Home Invasion would be the Scholtz family of Evansville, Indiana. One family member would have their head inside a tank full of dirt and earthworms. Buried in the in tank would be five keychains, each worth $1000. Five family members would be lined up. On go, the first person would have to down a shot of blended worms, nasty cheese, rotten milk, and retrieve a keychain from the tank. The next person in line would repeat the process until all five had gone. The number of keys they could retrieve in one minute would represent the amount of money they would win from Capital One.

When the last episode left off, the couples were freaking out because Madagascar hissing cockroaches started pouring out of the walls and ceiling. At the beginning of this episode, someone tossed a brick though the window that said the couple to collect the most roaches would win a prize. Clayton and Shanti started getting as many as they could and putting them in pillowcases while Lacy was freaking out. Giulianna and Paulo were trying to get close to the holes where Shanti was collecting roaches, but Shanti was getting in their way and getting all the roaches. Lacey mostly stayed on the bed while Chad tried to get as many roaches as he could. The next morning the roaches were counted. Each couple had collected over 1,000 roaches, but Clayton & Shanti caught the most. In addition to getting to pick the order for the next stunt, they won a seven-day trip to the Breezes Curaçao resort and spa off the coast of Venezuela.

Stunt #1 (Eat the Camel Spider)
Clayton & Shanti chose Chad & Lacey go first. Chad picked the spider up and bit off the gigantic abdomen while the other half still squirmed his hand. He said it tasted like possum. Lacey was afraid to put the spider in her mouth, let alone pick it up. She finally picked it up and took a bite out of it. She gagged with every bite she took, but got it down. Chad ate his second spider without much gagging. Lacey thought she would puke, but she managed to get her second spider down. They had a total of two minutes off their time. Chad used his teeth to undo Lacey’s straight jacket, and then she undid his with her hands. They got out in 29 seconds, so their final time with the deduction was -1:31. Paulo & Giulianna were next. They were both committed and powered down both of their spiders for a deduction of two minutes from their time. Paulo got Guilianna free first, and then she freed him. They completed the stunt in 28 seconds, for a final time of -1:32. Clayton & Shanti were last. Clayton got his down without any trouble. Shanti did not mind eating the spiders, but the first one crawled off the plate and she was afraid to pick it up. She chased it around the parking lot finally caught it. She bit it in half, but the uneaten half got away and she had to catch it again. Clayton got bit on the lip while eating his second spider, but this did not deter him. Shanti also ate her second spider. Clayton got Shanti free with his teeth, but Shanti had trouble getting the straight jacket off Clayton. Their time was 33 seconds, for a final time of -1:27. Clayton & Shanti were eliminated.

Stunt #2 (Psycho House explosion)
Lacey and Giulianna started unscrewing sticks of dynamite while Chad and Paulo started assembling the detonator. Guilianna was having trouble aiming for the window while Lacey seemed a bit more precise. Outside, Chad seemed to be getting the detonator assembled faster than Paulo. Chad got the wire first and pushed the plunger, blowing the front wall off the front of the Psycho House and sending the women flying through the air. Since Chad got the detonator assembled first, he and Lacy would get an additional two sticks of dynamite. Giulianna had unscrewed 6 sticks of dynamite and Lacey had unscrewed 4 sticks of dynamite. However, Giulianna only got 1 stick out the window while Lacey got 3, plus the two for best time, for a total of 5. Chad & Lacey were the Psycho Fear Factor Champions and they were going home with $250,000.

Home Invasion Stunt (Gulp and grab)
Mom decided to put her head in the tank. Katie downed the first shot and took a while finding a key. Dad was second and found a key quickly. Another daughter was third and took a while finding a key. Another girl was fourth and found a key with four seconds to spare. The was not enough time for the last person in line to go. The Scholtz family had won $4,000.
