Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie perform their own skits, showcasing Hugh's musical talents hide show

I really enjoy this show. It's very witty and eventhough a bit old, many of the jokes and sketches still apply. Sketches like "Dancerising" and "There Ain't But One Way" are truly unforgettable. Fry and Laurie are extremely talented gentlemen with a brilliant sense of humor and it truly shows. The only downside is the final season when they were pressured/ordered to have guests on the show - the guest appearances were a bit stiff. (They admitted it was a giant problem trying to write their sort of sketches for other people.) If you ignore the guests, the show is easily a 9.5. Darn higher-ups mucking about in television!

It's Monty Python with more intelligence hide show

In "A Bit Of Fry And Laurie" we see Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry in a hilarious show filled with absurd scetches.

Instead of the funny and absurd humour of Monty Pyhton, Fry and Laurie bring a similar show but they throw in a lot more intelligence and social remarks.

Between each scetch you see Fry and Laurie in various roles when they're being asked a question (but we never know what the question is) And because of this, you get hilarious bits of nonsense between the scetches.

Opposed to "Jeeves and Wooster", this is clearely something where the two have had a lot of fun and had a greater amount of input to what we see.

    ALL HAIL FRY AND LAURIE

A hilarious sketch show, both intelligent and delightfully random, perhaps the best sketch show of all time. hide show

Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie make a wonderful comedic team, they offset each other perfectly, Stephen a posh and proper type and Hugh a little more cockney, common and goofy. Although both can pull off a multitude of accents and characters flawlessly.

This is a sketch show that is pure brilliance and while a lot of the sketches go 'over my head' and probably would make more sense for British audiences. Don't miss this funny funny show, it's worth every moment.

a show that people should be watching hide show

I love this show soooooooooooooooo much. i loved watching all the repeats that were on paramount comedy. Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry are two of the most talented people that britain has seen. It is great to see Hugh Laurie being appreciated in America with House. I think Stephen Fry would also do very well out there because he is one of the most interesting men around. These two have such a good chemistry between them and it can clealy be seen throughout all the series' of the show that were done. The sketches were well thoughtout and were executed to perfection. My personal favourite sketches were when Hugh sang, the end with the cocktails, the sketch where the police had been made a PLC and where Hugh's character wanted to trade in his child at the school. There were many more as almost every moment of this show made me laugh.

The original Little Britain! hide show

A bit of Fry and Laurie is written and performed in by two of comedy's greatest. Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie are amazingly funny with their converstaions with their guest stars, the parodies that Hugh makes up from other songs, and the little sketches that they make up showing their view of Britain.

Sound familiar? This is the original Little Britain. Two men dressing up as characters from everyday parts of britain. Hilariously funny because people can recognise events in their own life in it.

If you enjoyed this you may enjoy other programs in which these two pair up, eg. Jeeves and Wooster. Also if you like Little Britain you should watch this.

    So good bye m'colleagues.
