i do find it enjoyable. i recall my frist days at both of my colleges and i know that there are more to come, and well it can be interesting. anyway i was hoping you guys could help me and tell me what network this show was on, i downloaded it free (piolet) of itunes. thanx

It airs on The-N. (It's the same channel as Noggin but at 6pm -eastern- the 'kiddy' shows of Noggin turn into The-N's block of shows~ which are more teen). Did that help?

From the privews it looked kind of dumb but I gave it a shot...though it goes a bit overboard in the gross-out humor I find it quirky and enjoyable...a definate change from all the drama series I watch

I think it's cute, it's not the best show, but I think as the show continues and starts to pick up speed ithe writing will probably get better.

I think it's cute! I think the gross-out humor is great! Remember, though, that this story is basically told from Amy's point of view, so it's probably projected to be worse than what it really is.. if that makes any sense.. And actually, the messiness and stuff like that is pretty on target. my old roommate that I had freshmen year is currently staying in a house off campus with her cousins (rent-free!) and she is absolutely horrified at their living style. It's pretty gross.. she won't even let me come over to see the house. Lol. She said it's slowly getting better, mainly because her aunt and uncle have allowed her to clean up the place if she so desires.. I do think the stuff with the food might be overdone just a tad.. but I still like this show nonetheless. hehe.

I adore this show. It's so cute, and I can see where it can pick up. It's not as drama- centered as some of the other shows on the N. (Not that I mind the drama)...

Yeah, I'm with you.. I'm all for drama, but it's nice to have a break from it every once in a while...it's just a feel-good show that makes you laugh and you don't have to worry about somebody dying or doing drugs or getting some STD.. Lol. It's refreshing, to be quite honest.

Yeah, I like this show a lot. It's nice to sit back and laugh for alittle bit after the constant drama-fest over on Degrassi. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE to watch it, but it gets a little much after a while. About A Girl is the nice little laugh I need. The hottie Jason isn't too bad either.

I like it's potential. Especially the bodily function humor... But...
***SPOILER*** Of all the bodily function humor though? I'm not too keen on the vomitting. That went a little too far. Pooing was a bit much too. If they could just whittle the bodily function humor down to the tamer bodily functionsie belching, farting,implied peeing then maybe it could work. I've seen every episode. I think its great that you have a choice betwixt buying the full episodes on iTunesor watching the full episodes for free on The-N.com, well its free for now I wonder if a price point will be put into place post-strike. Its obvious to me that the bodily function/gross outhumor is a mainstay no matter how much the writting changes and I'm fine with that provided they cut back on the vomit jokes and some of the gross out food humor. Bad food is never funny, bad cooking is never funny that's humor 101. The belch/fart jokes can stay as long as they don't turn into vomit/poo jokes too much although I have yet to see an implied shart joke from one of the guys I somehow think its in the stars... |
