Vicki and Josip are called to an emergency in a condemned building. A man has been assaulted and left for dead at the bottom of a lift shaft. As Vicki discovers that he went to high school with her, she fights to keep him alive, but the building soon proves to be a death trap.
When Olivia refuses to share her problems with Matt, he begins to suspect that all is not all right, and breaks up with her because she won't trust him, throwing her further over the edge.
