In this episode Reed participates in a drag race on a strip in California. In the Los Angeles area, there are two such tracks that are approved by the NHRA [National Hot Rod Association]. There's a test track in Bakersfield, and the Fairplex at Pomona where the first, and last races of the NHRA season are held.
