As Joel Stein of Time Magazine has stated, thanks to his role as Seth Cohen in The O.C., Adam Brody has successfully introduced to the world of television the "Adam Brody" character archetype which is that of a "nerdy, sarcastic, obscure-reference-laced Jew". No one has ever given me as many laughs as Seth Cohen has, and that includes names such as George Lopez and Dave Chappelle. The stuff he says is just so sarcastic and knee slapping hilarious, that it's just so difficult to imagine anyone else even coming close to playing off the "Adam Brody" type character. Though even underneath the wit and humour, he's shown versatility in his ability to act when the drama bar is risen. Some of his dramatic scenes have really been excellent and he makes for a pretty good romantic character as well.
Ive seen Adam Brody in many movies before but the best show or movie hes been is the O.C. I still cant believe that the show is over. I also like Adam Brody's role in the Land of Women. Very good preformance. I still can't believe that he is probably going to play the role of Flash in Justice League of America coming up in 2010. Hes very funny in the O.C. He makes good apperances in movies when he has small parts. In summary I think Adam Brody is a Great actor and is going to star in many more good movies.
I have been a huge Adam Brody fan for as long as i remember. i loved him in Gilmore girls and in the OC. Seth Cohen has got to be the most lust after Character in tv. i love all Adam Brody movies including my favorite In the Land of Women. i think he did a wonderful job. so disappointed he did not get a spin off show for Seth Cohen because he would have done a great job. He is and always will be the perfect guy for me. can't wait to see what his next project is. Adam Brody truly is LOVE
What can I say about Adam Brody? He is so gorgeous, he is very talented too. I think like every other girl who has reviewed Adam, i am also in love with him. He is a brilliant actor. I fist seen Adam act in The OC, with he played a big part in the show, as he was Seth Cohen. He was my favourite character in The OC. I have also seen Adam Brody in many other films, which I thought he did brilliant. He is so perfect, I really want to meet him. All in all Adam is a very talented actor and a very hot one too.
Despite the fact that, yes, like most of the other people who've reviewed him, I am "in love" with Adam Brody, I wouldn't go as far as to say that he is "one of the best" or super-talented. He's a decent actor who found an excellent vehicle in which to act (i.e. Seth Cohen). I will, however, say that he is one of the most attractive and most charming actors onscreen today.
He made it cool to be a geek, or at least cemented the cool factor of geek chic. The vast majority of my friends who watch[ed] The O.C. watched it for "Seth Cohen." Because let's face it, there wasn't much else to watch it for after the second season. What really gets me though is the fact that once again, the geek got the girl, and the girl who belonged with him in the first place [Anna] got the shaft. Not that I have anything against Summer. Well, I've digressed quite a bit, but my point is, even if Seth Cohen isn't the most spectacular actor ever, he's got star power and in this business, that's almost all that matters. And he's got one fan here, who'll be in the theater on opening night, even if it is a crappy movie *coughInthelandofwomencough*.
