Seen it and can say it was a bit boring and confusing. I found it hard to keep track of whose who - other then Miss Marple and a couple of other characters.
Weird how everyone got those "Poison Pen" letters but took them so seriously. Bunch silliness if you took them seriously which I wouldn't have if it was me. |

Too bad. I was expecting this one to be the best of the bunch, depsite being based on one of my least favorite Marple novels. I was looking forward to it because of Frances de la Tour and James D'Arcy.

Hi
I know what you mean about one of the least good Christie mysteries, but I still thought it was one of the better dramatisations, based on the stuff that's come before |

I'll have to wait until a later date to watch "The Sittaford Mystery", CBC doesn't seem to want to air it now. Stanley Cup Playoffs.

I watched it today at croatian tv and completely agree with you. It's my favourite Marple's novel and I am expecting more than Sleeping murder which was awful. I don't like so many changes from original Christie's novels butt it seems that new dramatisations are full of "innovations" and unfortunately, we must accept them. |

I agree too.
There seemed to be too many twists than was really necessary. They seemed to get off point too much for me |

I'm sorry but I really disagree with all of you. I thought it was a really great episode, with a real sense of artistic direction. The whole casting brought something new to this piece. Of course, this story is not the most intriguing one, but you have to know it was one of Christie's really own favorite, because of the love interest which is developed in it. When I saw it I thought of some Danny Boyle's work. |

I liked this ep - great chemistry between James d'Arcy and Talulah Riley. Great plot twist at the end. I found it relatively easy to follow... which bits were confusing? :S
