How can Avatar be completely ignored again. It easily deserves to be nominated ahead of the simpsons or that cartoon network generic rubbish. But off course the world might implode if the simpsons wasnt nominated for something.

I can't believe Battlestar Galactica didn't get nominated for more important awards. It is unfortunate that most people do not give it a chance... I can understand though, that because it is just one of those shows you need to have started at the beginning... more people haven't realized it's potential. It really isn't very SCIFI... In my opinion, it has some of the best acting I have ever seen, and the writing and production is A+ in quality. It's a shame... If you ever get a chance... give it a chance... =D

Too bad Jean Smart didn't win. 24 should have swept all the categories it was nominated for last season. I'm not just saying that because I'm a 24 fan either. President Logan and the First Lady were incredible.

Sticking to comedy

I'm glad The Office won. Miles ahead of the competition (was there any?).
Best Actor & Best Actress - don't watch them, can't comment, had my bets and hopes elsewhere.
Nice that Megan bows out with a nod. She's brilliant but Will & Grace lost its 'thing' around season 4 and only a few episodes since have ever really recaptured it, though I kind of liked the last one ever.
And hooray for Jeremy Piven and Entourage because I thought he was the best but Sean Hayes might win and I can't stand his act(ing) and it's even less fun now than last century...
So I'm basically OK with Comedy.
House, House, House are the three main reasons I'm not going into drama. Since Hugh Laurie 'was' robbed before things even got started. Grrr-

Season 5 of 24 was terrible; how did it win the Emmy? Almost everyone who had been important were just killed off: Tony, Michelle, Edgar, President Palmer. I couldn't really care as much for the show without the characters that I cared for.
