In January 2007 Alec Baldwin accused his ex-wive, Kim Basinger of breaching a 2004 custody agreement over their daughter, Ireland. Alec alleges Kim failed to tell him she'd be out of town, giving him an opportunity to care for Ireland and she failed to inform him of an injury Ireland suffered which needed medical attention. Court papers allege Kim has a "pathological need" to distance Ireland from her father. Kim must now answer 12 contempt of court charges, and faces a 60-day jail sentence and $1300 fine if she's found guilty. edit »

Kids in movies have all kinds of marketing potential. Then it's the actors of the Zach Braff/Jessica Alba stripe, the 30-and-under people.
