Chaplin was known as Alexander Gaberman, until he was married. He then changed his name to Alexander Chaplin. He is married to Daisy Chaplin (Daisy Prince) and has one child to this day.
Alex was a native of New York, New York. Chaplin was accepted to Julliard in 1989, where he honed his craft in countless productions.
Chaplin's most famous role was as James Hobert, a childish speech writer for the Mayor of New Yorks staff on the hit ABC comedy Spin City. He quit Spin City the same year that Michael J. Fox did, in 2000.
