Aside from the professional use of the name Alexis, all of her friends,co-workers and family call her by her real name, Kimberly. (edit) Alexis' favorite bands are Incubus and Radiohead. (edit) Alexis does not own a computer. (edit) Alexis has said in previous interviews that she especially enjoyed filming The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants because it was the first time she worked with other girls so close to her own age. (edit) When asked what were her least favorite scenes to shoot in Gilmore Girls, Alexis replied that any scene that involved her running is painful for her to watch, because she considers herself an "ungraceful" runner. (edit)

Alexis: (about her driving) I get pulled over sometimes, because I know all the rules, but I forget them, and sometimes I'm in a hurry.....so one time, I got pulled over, and the cop, I actually thought I was being Punk'd, because the cop was yelling at me. I mean, I've been pulled over before, so I know how it goes, but this guy, he was yelling in my face, and I was like, "What did I do? I didn't do anything!" and he just kept yelling, and I was looking for the camera, and I couldn't find it, so it just made my situation much worse. I cut him off, apparently, but I didn't see him coming. It was bad, so don't do what I did! (edit) Alexis: I am a terrible driver, just... I'm actually not proud of this. It's actually shameful. People give me looks of shame everywhere I go, like, "Do you really drive like that?" I'm just very impatient, and if it doesn't end in a collision, the funniest thing that happens is when people kind of yell at you, because you've angered them, but their window is up, so you can't hear what they're saying, so they're just driving forward, and that's very funny to see. (edit) Alexis: (about being typecast) I don't know how much it's possible to completely get away from it. I'm looking forward to playing different characters and seeing how far I can stretch, but I don't know that it's a good idea to do something just because it's different. I'm more concerned that the projects I'm involved with are strong material. (edit) Alexis: I don't read a lot of fan mail. Most of it is very strange. (edit) Alexis: (about playing Rory Gilmore) I was certainly lucky to play a teenage character that was so academic and intelligent and unique from a lot of other characters on television, as far as teenagers go, but I'll be happy to play adult roles. But if I don't get to play characters as unique as Rory is, then I'd miss that. (edit)
