ALF: (impersonating a doctor, and not sure what to do) First of all, where do babies come from?
Denise: How can a doctor not know where babies come from?
ALF: I'm not married. (edit) ALF: (pretending to be a doctor) So...what seems to be the problem?
Denise: The problem?! I'm going to have a baby!
ALF: A baby? (not sure what to do next) Um...did you get a second opinion? (edit)

There is a continuity error when ALF tells Denise that he doesn't know where babies come from, and the reason being, he was never married. Earlier, in "Wedding Bell Blues" ALF explains that on Melmack, babies were born before marriage, and that it was a disgrace to be born into wedlock.
(edit)
ALF says that he's "debating William Buckley" when he argues with George Foley. William F. Buckley was a political commentator and journalist and the host of the television show Firing Line for 33 years. Buckley was considered one of the greatest intellectual minds of the conservative movement; he died on February 27, 2008.

ALF's Special Christmas (2)Perfect "A very special episode" One of the finest Christmas episodes to ever air. It has Alf humor, but also moving scenes that will leave you choked up. The scene in which Alf comforts a terminally ill girl who is afraid of death makes this episode Emmy-worthy. Don't miss this one. Continue » Posted Dec 26, 2007 8:59 pm PST |
