Doug Gould says that he is "reporting live from 169 Hemdale Avenue." However, the Ochomoneks address is 168 Hemdale, and Gould is being videotaped in their front yard. (edit) We learn in this episode that Willie's middle name is Francis, a fact that ALF finds outrageously funny. (edit) The Ochmoneks live at 168 Hemdale. (edit) ALF's blood is green. (edit) When ALF hides in the laundry basket, he speaks on the walkie talkie, and the SWAT team, not even 3 feet away can't hear him. (edit)

Mrs. Byrd says at one point in her frustration because of perceived ineptitude with the police, "I'm going to Gary Hart!" She's alluding to the lawyer and politician who ran for presidential election in 1984 and in 1988 on the democratic ticket. (edit) Willie asks how Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid ended.
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid is a 1969 western about a couple of bank robbers. The end of the movie has them surrounded and ready to be gunned down. (edit) ALF asks Willie is he's seen Dog Day Afternoon.
