Randolph Mantooth, who starred as Firefighter/Paramedic John Gage on Emergency! starting in 1972, is a guest star in this episode. He plays a young man who, not surprisingly, comes to Heyes' and Curry's rescue at a crucial moment. Maybe they should've called it "Stagecoach 51"!
