At the close of the series Jennifer Garner and Victor Garber are the only actors to appear in every episode with Ron Rifkin coming very close missing only the penultimate episode of season 4. (edit) Rachel Nichols (Rachel Gibson) was supposed to take over as head of the show when Jennifer Garner left at the end of season 5. But again due to low ratings in season 5 the show was canceled. (edit) Originally this season was going to run for 22 episodes like the other four seasons. But due to lower ratings in season 5 ABC cut the number of episodes to just 17.
