(Gordon Dean tasks Peyton to intercept Rachel’s imssion)
Gordon Dean: Is there a problem?
Peyton: It’s just that it would be strange if Rachel and I crossed paths, she thought I was her best friend.
Gordon Dean: If we could have convinced her to play on our part, we would have, but things didn’t go that way.
Peyton: So if I run into her?
Gordon Dean: Show her the professional courtesy of putting a bullet in her head. (edit) (Rachel prepares for a mission)
Dixon: Are you about ready?
Rachel: I’ve been going to the firing range every night, in the event the time came, I would be ready… Of course on my first solo mission, I have to go unarmed. (edit) (Rachel’s at the APO gym hitting the punching bag, Tom walks in)
Tom: Oh, sorry.
Rachel: No, it’s okay, you can use the bag, I’m done.
Tom: No, I really don’t like to work out around other people.
Rachel: I could use someone to spar with.
Tom: I don’t really… (sarcastically) spar.
Rachel: Me neither, that’s why I could use your help… I don’t want to get my ass kicked in the field, what do you say? (both assume a fighting position) So how many fights have you been in?
Tom: I don’t know, enough?
Rachel: Did you win?
Tom: Of course… mostly, why? What have you been hearing?
Rachel: Nothing it’s just that I’ve never been in a real fight, I kind of want to know what to do.
(Rachels throws a spinning kick at Tom, he grabs her and tosses her hard to the floor)
Tom: Not that! Don’t ever do that spinning kung-fu shit! You’ll get yourself killed.
Rachel: Ok, fine, then what should I do?
Tom: Ok, for real?... I fight dirty.
Rachel: Dirty?
Tom: Go for the eyes, the throat, the nuts.
Rachel: The nuts?-
Tom: Cause as much damage, inflict as much pain as is humanly possible.
Rachel: I don’t know if I can do that.
Tom: Then you shouldn’t be here! I’m serious, everybody’s taken care of you, if they can’t depend on you, the go pack your play things and go back to mom and dad- (Rachel angrily sucker-punches Tom and knocks him over) That was better I want to see more of that.
(edit) Sloane: (to Sydney) Look there’s something I need to confess to you, I hope you don’t judge me too harshly for it… Every day I go to visit Nadia… I get off on the floor, I talk to the doctors and yet… I cannot set foot in her room… can’t bear to see her all hooked up to those machines… knowing that it’s my fault. (edit) Tom: You okay?
Rachel: If by "okay" you mean "freaked and embarrassed," then yeah, I'm great. (edit)

At the end of the episode Sydney said to Rachel "I see you tomorrow." The thing is that they were at work and they live together in the same apartment/house, wouldn't they see each other at home later and not tomorrow?
(edit)
When Marshall says to Rachel he has been in the field, 'do you know what a spork is?' he is referring to the episode 'Tuesday' in which he dug a man's eyeball out with a spork for the eye scan.

SoloGreat "They did this one already" The show is still amazing, still has a good plot, but people have a good point. It is almost like they are trying to replace Sydney this season. Continue » Posted Dec 2, 2006 9:40 am PST |
