    Something different hide show

Ok.. From the first season I have wondered why Marshall is main char.. he could be just well a supportive one as he seems to be little off the pace and things and usually not gets much screen time and never happens nothing to him - but that change here - he goes to mission with Sydney and in the end, he is going to be brought in to CIA. But it goes wrong -someone else takes him. So, first I was thinking they are dumping that char.. but now.. it looks like he is finally get some action.

Also other than that.. little family relations in Bristow side.. but other than that.. quite avargae.

    Marshall's hide show

'I've never been prouder to be one of the good guys' - favourite episode of the second season. hide show

This episode contained a very strong comic value. From the paranoid plane sequences and Marshall's ridiculous parachute jacket to the attempted British accent ('hello') and the failed distraction technique in ewok. This episode was never dull to watch and gave some more depth and realism to the extremely lovable Marshall character.

We saw some great Sydney style cover ups and we got some typical loose ends with the wheelchair guy at the concert hall. The best bit was that we even got an old school alias cliffhanger.

The episode itself had the suspense and action that made it the action spy show and yet the humour and character interaction that made it a stand out episode.

The dentist is back - fantastic way to end the episode by the way. That ending came out of left field by a mile, I wonder what the dentist is looking to do with Marshall now that he has him right where he wants him. I thought the episode was likely the most comical episode that the writers have ever produced, which I thought was a rather ncie change it up writing style then from what I am used to seeing. Some people may have called it a filler episode bcause Marshall and Sydney were the ones going on the trip, but I actually liked it to be someone different for a change - doesnt make me feel like Im watching the same thing just a different mission. I thought the scenes with Sydneys mom were also great, how she seems to be warming everyone up. I still think shes in for something huge to happen once we all least expect it - or maybe she has changed for good who knows. Either way - great episode from the writers.

    Another great episode hide show

Irena has complete control over Sydney, she's still working on Jack, but he isn't falling for her tricks like Syd has. He thinks that Sark & Irena are working together and that they are both where they want to be. Smart man. I think so too. And Jack is *still* married to Irena. Why hasn't he divorced her yet? Could it be because he's still in love with her?

Vaughn & Alice run into Syd (I mean Rita) and Will at a bar. Was that jealousy I felt right then & there. It looks like even Will realised at that moment that Syd & Vaughn have feelings for each other.

Now the best part of the episode, Marshal & Sydney go on a misson together. This is Marshal's first time on a plane & he's very nervous, I think it was so sweet that he left room for Syd in his parachute, and that he thinks it's his job to keep her safe.

His brittish accent was pretty bad, poor guy getting drugged like that, and Syd waking him up with a kiss, that was my favorite part of the episode.

Marshal getting kidnapped at the end by the bad guys was bad. I can't wait to see what happens & who they are. And is Marshal's kidnapper who I think it is? The same chinese guy who tortured Syd & Will back in season one. The guy who likes to pull teeth out? If it is, then poor Marshal.

  • When Sydney and Sark are under mission in Paris, they use a "Gendarmerie" vehicle as a cover. However, in France, the "Gendarmerie" (equivalent to US Sheriff department) functions only in rural areas (with a population no more than 20 000), while in a big city like Paris, it should have been the "Police Nationale". • Ariana Kane: With whom have you had intimate contact within the last 10 years Agent Bristow?
Jack: I’m curious to see where you’re going with this.
Ariana Kane: More secrets have been revealed through pillow talk, than through torture, if there’s a prostitute or stewardess out there you think may have heard you talk in your sleep, I need to know about it.
Jack: There is one way for you to verify if my nocturnal activities are a security risk Mrs. Kane, but somehow I think we’d both prefer the torture. []
  • (Sloane lays out a mission in the conference room)
Slaone: (to Sydney) That’s why you’re going in with Marshall.
Marshall: Marshall who? (Marshall looks at everyone in the room, they all stare back) Wait, what!? []
