The title of this episode is an allusion to the musical and subsequent movie titled, My Fair Lady. The musical opened on Broadway in 1956. It starred Rex Harrison and Dame Julie Andrews. The movie, which was released in 1964, starred Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn.
