EPISODE RECAP

Ally continues to debate whether or not dating Glenn would be a practical, good idea or not. She keeps thinking about him and he continues to show interest as well, but she balks. She’s worried about being hurt, and writes it off as wanting to be practical. Glenn doesn’t like this response. Jenny’s mother unexpectedly comes to town, throwing Jenny off. Frances, her mother, hires the firm to represent her when she gets fired for becoming engaged to a 22-year-old man, Tim. Jenny is outraged to learn about her potential new stepfather, and wants Ally to throw the case. Ally ends up arguing the case, which has striking similarities to her relationship issues with Glenn. In the end, Frances wins her suit, and Ally eventually gives in to a kiss with Glenn.

In other storylines, John Cage is still missing in action. Richard has renovated his hole in the unisex into a Disco Den, and lures Frances there to proposition her. She refuses. Coretta and Elaine lament that they’re not getting any action in their sex-charged workplace. Nelle thinks this isn’t a problem for her, and also snottily offers Glenn advice. Ling continues to run her dictatorship courtroom television show.
