In October 1993, on National Coming Out Day, Amanda held a press conference where she came out publicly as a Lesbian. Amanda actively supports such groups as The Victory Fund, PAWS/LA, the Human Association and the Los Angeles Gay and Lesbian Community Service Center, where she served as a member of the Board of Directors. Amanda Bearse is Marcy from the sitcom "Married...With Childen." She did a great job, but her character got either annoying or boring at times. Her role is still very good, though. She was funny at times, and not at others. Her voice is good, but nothing special. She's talented,though, I'll give her that. Overall, good voice, talented, and funny at times.
