For the past few years of his football career, Amani Toomer has really set the standard for football receivers in the NFL. Unlike Terrell Owens and Chad Johnson, who can't get enough attention and are always showboating, Amani has been a quiet, classy player in the league. He's broken just about every Giants receiving record, including receptions and touchdown catches. Last year, he suffered a torn ACL and missed the rest of the season after having surgery to repair it. But that certainly hasn't slowed him down this year. He has been a reliable, productive wide receiver for the Giants and a favorite target for quarterback Eli Manning. Despite his age (33), Amani continues to perform as one of the best wide receivers in the league, and his class and manner really set the standard for all football players in the NFL today.
