The Amazing Race 14: The newest Amazing Race adventure has come and gone! The new season began on February 15, 2009, with the racers facing a challenging adventure with stops in Central Siberia and Beijing. The entire look and feel of the race was updated for the new edition and viewers were also given a more fast-paced and exciting race with, among other things, less time spent on airport drama. Teams this season include a pair of movie stuntmen, two self-described hillbillies and a mother and son team featuring the race's first ever deaf contestant. Overall, this season was well-regarded by fans, featuring a mixture of interesting and likeable teams as well as some great dramatic moments. Some, however, lamented the lack of diversity of locations, as well as race planning that seemed to favor one particular team. Congrulations to Tammy and Victor, winners of this season of the race. Watch for the fifteenth season, coming in the fall!

The Amazing Race 13: This season of The Amazing Race came to CBS on September 28, 2008 and ended on December 7. This season saw a wide-ranging adventure with visits to such diverse locales as Kazakhstan and Cambodia. Reaction to this season was once again mixed, as were ratings. Congratulations to Nick and Starr, winners of this season of the race.

The Amazing Race 12: This adventure began on November 4, 2007 and ended in January 2008! CBS officially announced the return at the same time as the announcement of the cancellation of Viva Laughlin, giving viewers less than two weeks notice before the start of the new season. This season was lauded by both critics and viewers, becoming a new favorite for many. Congratulations to TK and Rachel, the winners of the twelfth season!

The Amazing Race 11: All Stars --- The first-ever All-Star edition for The Amazing Race has ended. This season featured eleven teams who raced on previous seasons of the program. As these teams raced around the world once more, they found themselves facing all-new challenges. This season had its share of surprises, but was met with mixed reviews by fans. Some were disappointed with the uneven structure of the race, as well as challenges that in many cases were considered poorly planned. Others, however, were entertained both by seeing the development of new dynamics when it came to past racers and the flaring of rivalry and drama between teams. Congratulations to Eric and Danielle, winners of The Amazing Race: All-Stars.

General format:

The Amazing Race is a Reality program featuring 12 teams of 2 (11 in most seasons except, the third, the fourth, the eleventh and the "family edition") racing around the world for a cash prize of $1,000,000. The teams compete in thirteen legs traveling all over the world. In most legs the last team to arrive at the pit stop is eliminated. When only three teams remain in the race, they compete in a final leg. The team in first place is the winner of $1,000,000 and the winner of The Amazing Race.

Congratulations to The Amazing Race, now a six-time winner of the Primetime Emmy Award for Best Reality-Competition Program, having now picked up its sixth award at the 2008 ceremony. Now also a winner in the Creative Arts department for Outstanding Picture Editing For Nonfiction Programming (Single or Multi-Camera) in 2005.

Simply, type ANY comment about any episode of any season, and then the next person will come along and write agree or disagree and then post a comment of their own. For example, someone might write: Reichen & Chip deserved to win TAR4 and the next person will come along and either write 'Agree' or 'Disagree' and if they want to, they can explain why they chose that. Then, they will post a comment of their own. I will post the first comment: Flo & Zach would not have won TAR3 if the Road Block rule existed in their season. less «

  A very unfair season. hide « show »

  I felt that season was so unfair I couldn't stand to watch the last few episodes. I can't believe the producers allowed the Chinese sister and brother to participate knowing that they not only could speak the language fluently but had been to those very same cities in China on several occasions. What a totally unfair advantage. I would think there would be some kind of screening involved when choosing contestants that would make it fair for everyone. I am really upset that this was allowed to happen. I doubt that I will ever watch the show again. I hope the winner donate the money to a good cause because they obviously don't need it.

  You can't give 2 that unfair of an advantage. The winners were able to speak the language in China and stay at the front of the group. Totally unfair. hide « show »

  Don't take the contestant's to the country where they can speak the foreign language. Of all the places the Amazing Race could have taken them they go to China where it just so happens that the winners can speak Chinese? How Amazing is that? It was a sorry ending to an otherwise good show. I belive that you should have a vote (like they did on Suvivor) and give popular choice a monetary reward. The winners had an advantage that should not have been allowed. Shame on Amazing Race. I have been watching since the start and now I having my doubts as to how this show is produced. 2 thumbs down!

  Worst Season ever. Next season have a spanish speaking couple go through 3 days spain or mexico. No I got it... how about german-americans going several days through germany. Or spice it up New Yorkers go 3 days through New York. Hummm, unfair? hide « show »

  Absolute disgust with the shows producers who show unabated favoritism to the Chinese heritage contestants by allowing so much content in a familiar surroundings, and obvious discrimination against the deaf young man by the girl in the surfboard scene...she failed to tell him the second last one was wrong, causing him to get very anxious...cheats !
  
  I willnever watch this garbage show again, and if the Mom and son couple wish to take legal action for discrimination, I will be the first to contribute to their fighting fund...
  
  What a JOKE...and that wishy washy host needs to get a real job...like the rest of us...

  The Amazing Race is a reality show where eleven teams go on a race around the world to win one million dollars. It is a fun show to watch as they navigate around the many countries and do a series of chal;lenges that go along with the traditions or exports, etc... of the country they are in. They will
  compete and at the end of each leg one team will be voted off, (except in the two non elimination rounds). Watching some teams strugle while others soar is great fun that is made better by the comedy of some of the situations they get in. The Amazing Race is one of the best reality shows there are.
