"Moving Day" is my favortie. I remember watching this episode when I was a kid, just before we moved to another town. This episode, along with a few others, were permanetly lodged in my mind. Growing up duriing the Cold war with parents that hid their Russian roots, I will always cherish this episode.

Hmm, there are several that I like. If I were just going to list some episodes out of my head they would be:

One For the Road

One For the Books

The 21" Sun

Mirror, Mirror

Blue Man Down

Life on Death Row

The Amazing Falsworth

Gershwin's Trunk

You Gotta Believe Me

Mr. Magic

The reason I like so many of these is because of the writing. Look at movies that were obviously inspired from episodes of Amazing Stories. Such as...

Life on Death Row = The Green Mile

You Gotta Believe Me = Final Destination

Remote Control Man = Stay Tuned

"Gather Ye Acorns", because it's the only one I remember watching from the series original network run; "Fine Tuning", because I like old sitcoms, and it was interesting seeing Burns and Allen, and Lucy and company portrayed by aliens; and "Moving Day", I don't know exactly why, it's just entertaining.

Another reason I like "Gather Ye Acorns" is because it can serve as a reminder that things we do today will matter in the future, perhaps after we've long forgotten them. And that things we possess now that may seem worthless, and even burdensome, may be treasured someday.

I liked ''No Day at the Beach'' that was a good War + Supernaturel story.
