Although I have not purchased that exact set, I have bought things from his site and a similar one with an 8.0 Quality rating (which the episode quality of Amazing Stories is an 8.0), and they rate an 8.0 as this:

"8.0: Source came from a medium level VHS source which means that it will have the normal slight fuzziness or lines that a VHS tape would have along the bottom or sides of the picture."

I couldn't notice anything "un-watchable" on other sets I have that are an 8.0.

Oh dear god yes!!! I've been waiting for them to put this on DVD. Sadly it will most likely be a bare bones set. Wish it had commentaries for the episode.

I haven't seen #10 in so long, yet it is my fave for the sheer number of cameos in it. #21 is also a great episode.

You just made my day.

just got it and it is great. Has some deleted scenes in it. Rather cool to see that. The quality isn't the greatest on the deleted scenes but I've seen far worse.

Wow! Talk about a star studded line up.
I understand this show had one of the highest counts of major stars in a series of all time. And I'm sure Spielberg had everything to do with it. http://img.gamespot.com/gamespot/shared/emoticons/smile.gif?icon_symbol=: I might have to take a look at the DVDs.
