I'm kinda surprised. What happend to all the kids and teens with texting and whatnot?! I thought the vote would have been closer. But there were 97 million votes altogether so...

No David Cook got cocky and it went to his FAT HEAD. Even Randy said that David Archuleta was the best singer this year. David A deserved it so much more. He never had an off week.

It was pretty close talent-wise,though. Both Davids are wonderful artists. All season they were consistantly good and hardly ever missed a note (although if they did, it would be expected because they can't be perfect) and their song selections were always on the mark.

Paula was just on some meds randy repeated what he said

cook did win by a landslide. i am so glad that cook won. i know that both davids will be two of the most loved idol contestants ever and this finale will go down as one of the most exciting finales ever.
