Notes

add »
"The Finale" aired for a second time one week after the first, right before the original airing of "The Finale Results Show". (edit)
On its original airdate, "The Finale" was preceded by a recap episode titled "Countdown to the Finale" which summarized the events of the four semi-final rounds. (edit)

Quotes

add »
Erik Thompson: Ladies and gentlemen, and everybody else, whoever's loved the game of football: catch on with the catch vest. (edit)
Francisco Patino: America, this is the new and improved D-Tract. This is...my baby, D-Tract. Check it out. (edit)
Ed Hall: This is for you, America, from us. Thank you. (edit)
Janusz Liberkowski: America, open your heart. This is for you. (edit)

Trivia

add »
Janusz was the only inventor out of the four who completely threw out the ideas the ad agency pitched to him. Instead he went to the production company with his own, completely original idea for the ad. All of the other three contestants used the ad agency's ideas to some extent. (edit)
Perhaps under the presumption of equality, all four finalists went to the same advertising agency (DDB Worldwide) and production company (Plum Productions) to make their commercials. (edit)

Great
The Finale
"Pivotal"
The four finalist inventors each were given a chance to make a commercial to prove to us, the viewers, why their invention is a great product. The ad agency did the best with the Word Ace... but does that mean his invention will win our votes?
