Rommie: If Arkology is capable of slipstream, what purpose can it possibly serve to stay?

Rhade: It is noble.

Beka: Right. I'm out of here.

Beka: No. I've gone four years through three galaxies risking everything, and that's fine. But I'm not gonna die here defending some cockamamy notion of love and peace. (edit) Dylan: These loving people, Trance...to save them I have to take their innocence. I don't look forward to that.
Trance: Innocence at this point is a liability, not your responsibility. But whatever happens, Dylan...I feel that it is the end of our adventures as we have known them. (edit)
