In this series debut, Angel is a young, pretty French girl trying to learn to be a good American housewife to her newlywed, John, an American architect. Tonight, Angel visits a supermarket, where she meets a French grocer. She doesn't mind walking long distances to save money on groceries, but John is afraid people will think he's an economic failure. Also, other wives are getting jealous because Angel seems to be the perfect wife, so Suzie tries to turn her into a big spender. All this creates friction, and hilarity. Add a recap »
