(edit)
Alexis Denisof does the "Previously on Angel" voiceover.
(edit)
Jasmine takes her name from the night-blooming jasmine she smells growing at the Hyperion. Two years ago, in "The Trial," Darla also referred to the smell of the flower, which reinforces the idea that the Jasmine arc began in season two with that episode.
(edit)
Angel: They don't understand.
Conner: No.
Angel: We don't want to kill her. We just... want to find her, so we can worship her. (edit) Gunn: Okay, so what are we dealing with?
Fred: Eight legs? Three heads? Horns?
Lorne: Hey!
Fred: No offense.
Connor: Two legs, one head, no horns.
Lorne: Lemme guess, green?
Angel: No. Kind of... mocha. (edit) Lorne: My God.
Jasmine: People keep saying that. (edit) Lorne: One does tend to let the housekeeping slide during an apocalypta-lite. (edit) Lorne: Oh well, I'm as tickled as... someone so tickled they're all out of similes. (edit)

Gunn's Grandmother's name is Helen.
(edit)
When Angel stakes a vamp it turns to dust before the stake even touches it...
(edit)
Gunn: What about Helen?
Wesley: ...something along the lines of
Dianthia or Iphigenia...
Both the names Helen and Iphigenia are related to the Trojan War. Helen was the name of the Greek princess who left her husband and was carried to Troy by Paris, thus starting the entire war.
Iphigenia was the daughter of Agamemnon, who was sacrificed by her father so that his ships would make it safely to Troy.
"Dianthia" is also Greek, and means "divine flower" which may be a nod to Jasmine's eventual name choice. (edit) Gunn: What about Helen?
The suggestion of the name "Helen" could be a reference to Gina Torres' character in the series Cleopatra 2525 who had this name (though shortened to "Hel"). (edit) Lorne: It's like a hard day's night out there.
"Hard Day's Night" was a song and a movie by the poular British group The Beatles. In the movie, the band has girls chasing them much like everyone is following Jasmine, and the song is about everything being alright, which is Jasmine's promise. (edit) Lorne: ...going to dismember mama?
There was a popular early 1950's TV show titled "I Remember Mama". It starred Peggy Wood. (edit) Lorne:
An in-joke reference to the '74 flick "I Dismembered Mama," a really bad cut-em-up gore movie in the spirit of "Texas Chainsaw Massacre." In turn its title was a play on the '48 flick "I Remember Mama." (edit)
