Even though I never liked the show, Pokemon is definately the most popular. I remember in Elementary school when everyone was playing the cards, I was the one busy shaking my Digivice.

The most popular anime in America is Naruto. That's a no-brainer.

'Pokemon' used to but now it seems like 'Naruto' is. I'm not suprised if 'One Piece' gets more popular later since it's the most popular anime in Japan and it's started being dubbed by FUNimation which also dubbed another of America's popular animes 'Dragonball Z'.

The most popular anime ever in America was, hands down, Pokemon. EVERYBODY was interested in that when it was at it's peak. But here and now, Naruto probably holds that spot.

Well Bleach is no where near the most popular ever. Currently the most popular is most likely Naruto, followed by Pokemon. The most popular of all time is either Pokemon or Dragon Ball Z.

Taste has nothing to do with popularity. If Bleach was DBZ or Pokemon popular, it wouldn't be airing new episodes at 1:00 AM.

Let's back to the topic. It says "most popular anime in america" pokemon and YuGiOh aren't so famous in anime but they're great in merchandises or games. One Piece and Naruto are the best manga ever.

Yugioh is still popular, at least as far as TCG is concerned. The Shonen Jump tournament in Costa Mesa, Ca. last weekend had nearly 1200 people show up.

As far as most popular anime in America, right now it's easily Pokemon, even if it is rapidly declining.

I know way more people who like Naruto than Pokemon, right now. The way I see it, Naruto is easily more popular than Pokemon at the current moment, because it actually appeals to other audiences besides just kids, whereas the majority of Pokemon fans out there, are around the ages of 12 and under.

Through it's original run, DBZ was waaaay more popular than Naruto and Pokemon are currently.

Hell, I don't even consider pokemon a real series anymore so I guess I won't even count it.

Hmm, Naruto doesn't even have a weekday slot on CN anymore, but Pokemon does. The new Pokemon movie gave CN it's highest ratings of the year to date, and it's DAS slots typically go up to 2 to 4 million.

I'd say the monsters still have it in them.
