nickToons has revamped its Weekday schedule as of this week- except for the 8:00 PM prime-time/ 11:00 PM late night encore hour, which won't be updated until Monday.

First off, the early morning hours of "Fanboy and Chum Chum" and 'The Fairly Oddparents' have been flip flopped, with "Fanboy" airing back-to-back at 6:00 AM, followed by back-to-back "Oddparents" at 7:00 AM. Then it's back-to-back airings of lame live-action junk "Power Rangers Samurai" at 8:00 AM and even lamer "Planet Sheen" at 9:00 AM. Next it's nickToons' best half-hour in the schedule, an episode of smash animated hit "T.U.F.F. Puppy" at 9:30 AM! That's followed by back-to-back eps of the original "Jimmy Neutron" animated series at 10:00 AM, and another set of back-to-back "Fanboy and Chum Chum" at 11:00 AM. After that it's another airing of hit "T.U.F.F. Puppy" at 12:00 Noon! Next it's the combo of lame spinoff "Planet Sheen" at 12:30 PM and block of lame original "Jimmy Neutron" at 1:00 PM, followed by another back-to-back lame live-action "Power Rangers Samurai" at 3:00 PM.

This leads to back-to-back blocks of "Dragon Ball Z Kai" at 4:00 PM and popular animated adventure series "The Last Airbender" at 6:00 PM. As already noted, the 8:00 PM schedule won't be revised until Monday night, while 9:00 PM brings another back-to-back airing of "Fairly Oddparents", then another lame "Planet Sheen" at 10:00 PM and another smash "T.U.F.F. Puppy" at 10:30 PM. At 11:00 PM will be the late night encore of the 8:00 PM prime-time hour. Then it's the worst hour in the nickToons schedule, 12:00 Midnight, when the network irritates viewers with the lousy back-to-back airings of "Spongebutt Wetpants". Next it's yet another back-to-back "Fanboy and Chum Chum" at 1:00 AM. Then it's the hour that nickToons unfortunately has set up backwards. Explanation: The network has 'Planet Sheen' at 2:00 AM and "T.U.F.F. Puppy" at 2:30 AM. However, the overnight airing of "T.U.F.F. Puppy" places it head-to-head against Disney XD's smash animated hit "Kid Vs. Kat"! How could nickToons force viewers to choose between the two best animated series on TV in that half-hour? That's just mean!

The schedule wraps up with the return to three hours of its classic wee hours blocks starting at 3:00 AM. But this week, the Saturday morning block of "Danny Phantom" will be pre-empted by the weekend long marathon of "The Last Airbender" animated series. This marathon will also bump the majority of the weekend schedule for this weekend as well.

There you have it. nickToons' new Weekday schedule, now in effect.

I can now give you the lineup for the latter part of the weekend on nickToons.

Starting with 7:00 PM Sunday nights there's the lame live-action junk "Power Rangers Samurai" followed at 7:30 PM by the famed "Last Airbender" animated series. Then it's the best hour of the night when starting at 8:00 PM it's back-to-back episodes of the hit nickToon "T.U.F.F. Puppy"! After that it's all downhill with back-to-back episodes for most of the night: "Planet Sheen" at 9:00, lame trash "Spongebutt Wetpants" at 10:00, "Fairly Oddparents" at 11:00, more trashy "Spongebutt" at Midnight, "Fanboy and Chum Chum" at 1:00 AM, the classic "Invader Zim" at 2:00 AM, and "Mighty B" at 3:00 AM. Then at 4:00 AM the early Monday morning schedule leads off with "Invader Zim" followed by "Tak and the Power of Juju" (alternating every other week with "Random! Cartoons"), "ChalkZone", and "All Grown Up".

Meanwhile there will be another 48-hour marathon bumping most of nickToons' weekend lineup this weekend. The marathon consists of lame original series "Jimmy Neutron" sharing the bill with equally lame spinoff the short-lived "Planet Sheen" starting at 7:00 PM Friday night.

And tonight launches the new episodes that air at 8:00 PM and encored at 11:00 PM, starting with "Iron Man Armored Adventures", then tomorrow night 'Speed Racer: The Next Generation", and then Wednesday and Thursday nights the beginning of the end of "Dragon Ball Z Kai".

Also there's a Halloween weekend of live-action junk the following weekend, hopefully combined with popular animated holiday episodes of nickToons favorites to look forward to then. Stay tuned for more.

nickToons Schedule Update:

The network has flip-flopped the "Super Stacks'" of "The Last Airbender" and "Dragon Ball Z Kai" in their weekday lineup. "The Last Airbender" 'Super Stack' now airs at 4:00 PM followed by the "DBZ Kai" 'Super Stack' at 6:00 PM. This means Wednesday nights there are three hours of 'DBZ Kai" including the new episode at 8:00, and two-and-a-half hours Thursday nights, also including the new episode at 8:00.

Unfortunately, the network has also pulled its best show "T.U.F.F. Puppy" from two time periods to put on lousy shows. The Weeknight 10:30 PM time period now goes to an additional episode of "The Fairly Oddparents" (the Weeknight 10:00 PM airing of "Planet Sheen" has also been dropped for "Fairly Oddparents" as well, giving nickToons a two-hour 'Super Stack' of "Oddparents" starting at 9:00!), while the Saturday 8:30 PM slot is being given for the time being to new eps of "Back at the Barnyard".

And it's going to get worse as Thanksgiving draws near. Monday the network will crash and burn with a 24-hour marathon of the worst show ever, 'Spongebutt Wetpants'! And later on during the weekend, nickToons will be airing a 48-hour "Power Rangers Jungle Fury" marathon. It all leads to one of the most action-packed holiday weeks on the network, with marathons of their action series: "The Last Airbender Extras" (the version of the hit series with pop-up trivia featured in each episode), "Dragon Ball Z Kai", "Power Rangers Samurai", "Iron Man Armored Adventures", "Speed Racer: The Next Generation", "Voltron Force", and "Supah Ninjas".

nickToons has revamped its Weekday schedule again!

The network has dropped the 12:00 Noon airing of "T.U.F.F. Puppy" just so it could bring back "Back at the Barnyard" with back-to-back episodes! On the plus side, it's brought "Danny Phantom" back to the Weekday daytime schedule with back-to-back eps starting at 1:00 PM. In fact, the entire schedule from 11:00 AM through 8:00 PM is all back-to-back episodes of network series.

Also, after tonight's nickToons premiere of "Dragon Ball GT", the series will be airing Weeknights at 8:00 PM.

And, if you've noticed, "The Last Airbender" has been dropped from the schedule.

And one complaint: Why hasn't nickToons yet aired the Season 2 "T.U.F.F. Puppy" episodes in the Weekday strips or Weekend nighttime hours? The network hasn't aired those eps since the marathon last month!

There has been more revamping of the nickToons Weekday schedule.

As of this week, there's an addtional episode of the original "Jimmy Neutron" at 11:00 AM followed by the lame spinoff "Planet Sheen" at 11:30 AM. There's still one episode of "Back at the Barnyard" at 12:00 Noon, but there's an episode of "The Mighty B!" that follows at 12:30 PM.

There's been a few updates to nickToons' schedule as of late to note.

The most upsetting development has occurred to "T.U.F.F. Puppy", as its Weekday morning time period has now been given to the annoying "Planet Sheen", leaving only the Weeknight overnight and Saturday prime-time hour as the only slots for the popular animated series on the network.

Meanwhile, "The Legend Of Korra" has been receiving Sunday night 8:00 PM airings on nickToons nowadays, as well as a Friday night combo of new series "Wild Grinders" and newly-released eps of 'Planet Sheen'. Plus, there are now new episodes of "Monsuno", of which there are three new eps airing this week before resuming its Thursday night time period of new eps.

This weekend, however, it gets bad. nickToons bumps its schedule for another frustrating "Power Rangers" marathon, this time airing the 'Ninja Storm' series starting at 7:00 PM Friday night and continues through 7:00 PM Sunday night.

It seems nickToons is starting to stumble in getting viewers. And upcoming new eps of 'Iron Man Armored Adventures' and "Dragon Ball GT" are not going to earn the network more viewers like it thinks. It's already lost its major Weekday morning audeince by switching "T.U.F.F. Puppy" for "Planet Sheen", and it'll lose more viewers with that 'Power Rangers Ninja Storm' Weekend coming up.

It looks like nickToons has done a little more revamping for the summer in prime time. And it's good news and bad news.

Good news: nickToons has brought back the original "Last Airbender" animated series airing Monday through Thursday nights at 10:00 PM with back-to-back episodes. Bad news: "T.U.F.F. Puppy" has been irresponsibly removed from the Saturday prime-time schedule and replaced with "Iron Man: Armored Adventures", also airing back-to-back eps, with the second ep the newest one in the series. This leaves "T.U.F.F. Puppy" with just its 2:30 AM Weeknights time slot on the network. Then again, only the first 11 half-hours of "T.U.F.F. Puppy" are airing on nickToons. It's not airing all the rest of the episodes!

As we head into the fall, nickToons has modified its schedule.

For fans of both "The Last Airbender" and "The Legend Of Korra", I'd like to mention that "The Last Airbender" has not only returned to its Monday through Thursday 10:00 PM back-to-back airings, it now also has separate episodes back-to-back Weeknights at 1:00 AM; while "The Legend Of Korra" airs back-to-back episodes Saturday nights at 9:00 PM and Weekend Overnights at 2:00 AM.

Also, "Invader Zim" has Weekend 'Super Stacks' starting at 3:30 AM (although that puts the 4:00 AM episode up against Disney XD's smash hit "Kid Vs. Kat", while the 4:30 AM broadcast is no match for Disney Junior The Channel's legendary "Lilo & Stitch: The Series" in that time period.), and the early morning Weekday 'Super Stacks' have been pushed back to 4:00 AM- the Weekday 'Super Stacks' featuring such faves as "El Tigre" (which also has a Saturday afternoon 'Super Stack' starting at 4:00 PM), "My Life as a Teenage Robot", and "Danny Phantom" (which still has its Weekday afternoon back-to-back episodes starting at 1:00 PM).

Saturday nights also feature a 'Super Stack' of 'The Penguins Of Madagascar' at 6:00 PM FOLLOWED BY back-to-back "Fanboy and Chum Chum" at 8:00 PM. Sunday nights have new back-to-back episodes of nickToons' latest series "Huntik Seekers and Secrets" starting at 9:00 PM. And on Friday nights the network is featuring "Wild Grinders", 'Planet Sheen", and "Dragon Ball GT" back-to-back-to-back starting at 9:00 PM.

I have some updates to the nickToons schedule to note:

First, the overnight block of "Dragon Ball GT","Iron Man: Armored Adventures", "Voltron Force", and 'Wolverine and the X-Men" now has a Weekday afternoon block as well, with "Wolverine" at 5:00 PM (replacing "Planet Sheen"), "Iron Man" at 5:30 PM (replacing 'Wild Grinders"), "Voltron Force" at 6:00 PM, and "Dragon Ball GT" at 6:30 PM (those shows replacing "Back at the Barnyard" that hour).

Also, the network has flip-flopped their prime-time hours of 'Planet Sheen" and 'Fairly Oddparents" Monday through Thursday nights. While "Monsuno" airs Monday nights at 8:00 PM followed by "Planet Sheen", the rest of the week has back-to-back 'Planet Sheen" starting at 8:00 PM. "Oddparents" airs Monday through Thursday nights back-to-back at 9:00 PM. And the back-to-back 'Planet Sheen" is encored at 11:00 PM Tuesday through Thursday nights.

And, unfortunately, nickToons is adding another "Power Rangers" series to its lineup, 'S.P.D.' See "Favorite Series Of "Power Rangers" topic for more info.

But there is one hindrance in nickToons viewing: Both "Planet Sheen" and "T.U.F.F. Puppy" were added to the network's lineup a couple years ago. And yet, while new eps of 'Planet Sheen' are airing, the network has stubbornly relegated "T.U.F.F. Puppy" airings to just the first 11 half-hours of the series! There hasn't been any other "T.U.F.F. Puppy" episodes on nickToons since the marathon last December! The network needs to start airing the rest of the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" episodes up to the newest one being released in regular rotation as soon as possible in order to avoid any frustration from viewers.

March 11, 2013: The day nickToons ceased having quality animated programming during the main dayparts.

The network has dropped "Invader Zim", "Back at the Barnyard", "Wolverine and the X-Men", "Voltron Force", "Dragon Ball GT", and the 'Super Stack' checkerboard that included "My Life as a Teenage Robot", "El Tigre", and "Danny Phantom". In addition, the network has moved its one popular hit series, "T.U.F.F. Puppy", to 3:00 AM Tuesday through Saturday mornings, with back-to-back episodes. Will this mean fans will finally see the rest of the "T.U.F.F. Puppy" episodes to date in addition to the 12 half-hours that have aired ad infinitum since the show was added to the nickToons schedule a couple years ago? Let's hope so.

Also, "The Mighty B!" and "Random Cartoons" now air back-to-back episodes of each at 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM Weekdays, respectively, replacing "Jimmy Neutron" and 'Fanboy and Chim Chum" in those time periods.

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE ANNOUNCEMENT! After only one week of its lackluster prime-time schedule and popular hour of "T.U.F.F. Puppy" at 12:00 Midnight, nickToons abruptly reverted their schedule back to their previous Prime-time Marathon setup this week. Which meant that viewers wound up with the terrible marathons of 'Spongebutt Wetpants" on Monday, "Fairly Odd Parents" on Tuesday, and "Planet Sheen" last night. Of course the best marathon ever, a marathon of 'T.U.F.F. Puppy' airs tonight!

(However, viewers attempting to check the nickToons listings on the xfinity Lancaster, PA Interactive On Screen Listings System have been angered by an ongoing glitch that occurs most weekends which causes the nickToons listings to wrongly revert back to a lineup from early 2010! So they don't know about the changes that occurred this week!)

Tomorrow launches "Yu-Gi-Oh Zexal" on the network, but that doesn't matter. And this weekend you have the annoying 'Robot and Monster" marathons in prime-time.

There are some last-minute changes in the current nickToons schedule to note:

1. "Power Rangers Megaforce" is only airing Monday nights at 7:00 PM. The rest of the week the network is airing "Power Rangers Samurai"/"Super Samurai" in the time slot.

2. "Planet Sheen" has been removed as the Wednesday night Prime-time Marathon as of this week. The network will now have a different show airing every Wednesday night in the Marathon. This week it's a second consecutive Prime-time Marathon for "Fairly Odd Parents", tonight starting at 9:00 PM.

3. "Alien Dawn" may be temporarily dropped until new episodes resume in May, which means there could be a 2-hour 'Super Stack' of "Last Airbender" on Friday nights for the time being. This would also mean "Back at the Barnyard" would air back-to-back at 1:00 AM like the rest of the week in the interim.
