IMHO, the real Toonami died when CN canceled Megas XLR and Justice League came to an end. I don't consider the current thing airing on Saturday nights on Crap Network to be the true Toonami.Edited on 12/24/2006 1:59pm

A few OK shows here and there (Naruto dub is sub par), but really that's it. I would love to see more of Megas XLR....

I sort of expected Toonami to go down this road when they purchased Naruto... now it's really ther only tangible bit of programming that the I'm assuming at least 85% of the Toonami faihtful actually watch.
To be honest Blackstar when Justice League Unlimited and Teen Titans ended, that sort of did it for me. Those were two shows that I usually went out of my way to watch.
Prince of Tennis I've heard of, partly because of how old the anime is and partly because it's one of the purely sports animes out there (Slam Dunk being the other that I can think of at the moment).
Mar I haven't seen, but let's be honest all the anime you want to watch now (or if you're like me, wanted to watch when it first came out and only watch Eureka Seven now) that being Bleach, Trinity Blood and Eureka Seven.

Prince of Tennis gets kinda boring at some points, because it's all about tennis, but MAR seems like a funny show, just a little childish at times. I think BoBoBoBoBoBoBo and One Peace are off of Toonami.
You must be registered and logged in to post a message.They stuck a fork in Toonami when they took off Tenchi Muyo, Outlaw Star, and Kenshin.And they made it worst when they made Miguzi, and greenlit crap like Gym Partner, MLO[Mike,Lou, and Og], and KND.
On a side note, Nickelodeon needs to stop Mr.Meaty, and upcoming El Tigre. Or I will one day go to Viacom, turn Nickelodeon into a anime channel I call either ANick-me-lodeon or merge it with Cartoon Network to become NCN, have it's films released mostly by Paramount Pictures and make some deals with Funimation and ADV Films.
But Prince of Tennis and MAR are great.
Gym Partner is DLP meaning Dazzling Like Poop or Dumb Like P---.

- I saw an ep. of Mar last Saturday night (I can't believe it, but for the first time in about a year, I thought that I'd go check out what's on Toonami). Anyways, I didn't watch PoT on Toonami, but I've seen the first ep. subbed, and I thought that it was pretty boring. I saw the second half of the ep. of Mar that was airing on that Saturday, by the looks of it, it was the 1st ep., however, I'm not entirely sure. But, I from what I've seen, it seems to me to be like a very mediocre shounen anime, and feels quite a bit childish. Anyways, I've been pissed at Toonami for awhile
. I mean, what the hell happenned!? I used to love Toonami. However, I pretty much completely cut off from Toonami, as soon as they made the extremely horrible mistake, of replacing a great show like YYH, with a crappy one like Zatch Bell, that just went too far for me, that I completely lot interest in anything that Toonami had to offer from then on. Anwyays, I highly doubt that Toonami will go old school, and return to its original, classical, self, in which I, as well as many other people, use to enjoy. So as for now, it would seem that these 2 new shows that they've added, won't do them any good at all. Unfortunately, it would seem that they've decided to target a much younger audience, since CN is pretty much intended to be a kiddy channel (that's why they gave us older viewers Adult Swim, for me its the old and good Toonami's replacement
