I'm suprised you have Tara Strong as low as 43. Anyone who can go from playing a high-pitched wacky spoiled 10-year old (Timmy Turner), to a deep dark low troubled superhero (Raven from Teen Titnas) deserves ALOT more credit.

It's really heavy on The Simpsons show. Nancy Cartwright the #2 of all time? Has she really done anything significant in voice acting besides Bart Simpson and related characters on that show?

My list would include actors' voices that I would want to listen to even if they played in the cruddiest or most average cartoons around. You could be watching The Pink Panther, and then see Mel Blanc's name appear, and get all excited, even if he says just one line or something. Or Space Ghost and Dino Boy, just to hear Don Messick grunt a "hunh?" that reminds you of Scooby Doo.

I think the posts are great, but I have a random to throw in! I thought Roy Scheider was great in the family guy. He may have won a special place on this list for me!

I'm a bit upset that you have Tara Strong ranked so low. She's got the most definitive character voice in animation of recent years: Angel from "Lilo & Stitch: The Series". Not to mention Sarah, Kara, and Stacy all from "American Dragon Jake Long", as well as Ember McLain and Penelope Spectra on "Danny Phantom". I believe Tara should be among the Top 5 voice performers!

    Nancy Cartwright? #2?

Dee Bradley Baker ranked that low? Broken list, imo. Sorry.

My Top 5 Fave Voice Performers:

    1. Mel Blanc (The one that towers above all the rest, thanks to his legendary voice of Porky Pig, the Greatest "Looney Tunes" character of them all!)

    2. Tara Strong (She is always and forever the one true Angel)

    3. Daws Butler (Thanks to Boomerang, his main characters like Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Augie Doggie, and both Snooper and Blabber, will always be viewed)

    4. Tress MacNeille (From girl icons Gadget Hackwrench, Babs Bunny, and Dot Warner, to evil spinsters like Hana and Liliana)

    5. Rob Paulsen (Who wouldn't want to have a sandwich made by his famed character Reuben?)

So, if you were on the Simpsons, you automatically make the list??? The fact that you have Nancy Cartwright above Frank Welker is Strike 1. The fact that the following male voice actors are no where on the list: Neil Ross, Peter Cullen, Michael Bell, Paul Frees, and oh I don't know two guys named Jim Henson and Frank Oz...is Strike 2. Finally, the fact that the following females are missing from your list completely: Jane Webb, BJ Ward, Jennifer Darling, Russi Taylor & Katie Leigh....is Strike 3!

Your list is way too dominated by people who only had either one role or one show in which they appeared on. I don't care how great the character is, if all you have done is one simpsons or south park character you are no where near as good as someone who has done numerous iconic roles.

For example, Peter Cullen: Optimus Prime, Venger from Dungeons and Dragons, Monterey Jack from Rescue Rangers, Mario from Saturday Supercade, King Alfor and Corran from Voltron, Cindarr from Visionaries, Eeyore from Winnie the Pooh, Murky from Rainbow Brite, Sir Tuxford from Gummi Bears, Snatch and Fang from Biskitts, etc etc.

    1. Why did you bring back a thread from a year ago, when there's a perfectly good voice actors thread (made by me) on the front page already?

    2. Yeah...in that list at the bottom only 4 of those are really memorable to me personally.

    3. People have a right to their own opinions. Take a tranquilizer for gods sake!
