Dragon ball Z is not the best anime show by far. The characters are not attractive especially the females. What makes for a good anime is really good looking characters with a cute or hot at least one female companion.

I can see someone doesn't care for a GOOD storyline. I'm not saying Dragonball Z had a good storyline, I'm just saying that Fanservice does not make a good anime.

I would say One Piece is really good, though from what I hear they botched it up in the transition from Japanese to English.

One Piece is the best. The dub was one of the worst ones 4kids have ever dubbed in my opinion.

IMO the only three that deserve a 9/10 or higher are:
    1.Eureka Seven (absolutely the best)
    2.Noein (amazing style)
    3.Suzuka (personal favourite)

But there are also many good works between 8~9 (ie. Cowboy Bebop, Kurau Phantom Memories, Black Lagoon, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzusomething, NGE, etc.)

The best is clearly My Neighbor Totoro! The little girls are great and Totoro is cuddly! Saint Tail is funny too, especially when Asuka Jr. gets angry over a bunch of balloons. Also like DNAngel, although anime in general doesn't stand a chance against Cinderella or Disney Sing-Along Songs because I could at least understand what they are saying there.

It all comes down to personal opinion really.

A few of myfavorites (in no particular order):

    Cowboy Bebop

    Fullmetal Alchemist

    Samurai Champloo

    Outlaw Star

    Ghost in the Shell

Well, I suppose it all comes down to opinion, but I definitely agree with you about Inu-Yasha. Overall, its one of the worst anime that I've seen (provided that it had the potential to be a pretty good anime with the first few episodes, but sadly was a huge dissapointment, with annoying characters, and a story that went absolutely nowhere ).

Right now it's FMA, but I have a good feeling it's gonna be Death Note soon(it looks awsome ).

I personally like Death Note better. Well, it may be because I actually got into Death Note before FMA (a couple of years ago, via the original manga). BTW, I find both the DN and FMA manga to be far superior to their anime counter-parts .
