i don't think i need to any more than say what do you think were the best cartoon movies of the 2000's (a decade chock full of way too many computer animated movies which is fine, but enough, start making more fully animated stuff). my favorites were these: meet the robinsons, the incredibles, shrek, wall-e, finding nemo, surf's up and monsters, inc. the computer stuff is great, but bring back fully animated movies, too. not every computer animated is going to fly.

There is no doubt what the Best Animated Movies of the Past Decade are: The "Lilo & Stitch" Movie Collection! 4 of the best movies to ever be released, from the original theatrical movie that started the whole ohana magic, right on up to the masterpiece finale movie "Leroy & Stitch", which features Angel's legendary martial arts performance against some of the Leroy clones.

You can't top this quartet of movies in the entire decade of animated performances, theatrical or direct-to-video.

The Princess and the Frog for one.

A long awaited hand animated movie from Disney and they actually got that old magic right!

Of the ones I've seen, I'll go (no particular order) for Wall-E, Up, The Incredibles, Spirited Away, Persepolis and Paprika. There are a bunch of movies I still need to watch though.

Ooo, Spirited Away truly was awesome...wish I could have seen it in a theater.

Ruling out 3D animated films (not that I don't think they should be in the same category, but Pixar films are just going to dominate), The Simpsons Movie was unexpectedly impressive. Haven't seen The Princess And The Frog yet.

i would say the simpsons movie... it's hard to find a film in 2D these days, despite some CG elements.
